Satori (悟り) (Chinese: 悟; pinyin: wù; Korean: 오 o; Vietnamese: ngộ) is a Japanese Buddhist term for awakening, “comprehension; deep understanding”. It is derived from the Japanese verb satoru. In the Zen Buddhist tradition, Satori refers to the experience of kenshō, “seeing into one’s true nature”. I hold this meaning dear to me, especially when in the kitchen. Our energies flow freely and especially when we are preparing food for others, we must stay clear and awake.

Satori is also my daughter’s name.

I have been making herb infused chocolates for about seven years now and catering for about 4. I very much enjoy creating nourishing and delicious meals and treats for others. Every bit of what I make is infused with the most soul full and loving intentions and I hope to continue serving you all in this way.

Thank you for visiting Satori Foods.
